Undergraduate Research is an integral part of the student learning experience in the mass communication department at UNC Asheville.  Students are encouraged to participate in projects either of their own devising, or to work on on-going projects under faculty direction.  (Apply online.)

Katherine Clark is investigating the history of film movements in the Czech Republic with an emphais on the New Wave. Katherine visited the Czech Republic in the spring of 2010 where she conducted interviews with scholars and filmmakers, and utilized film libraries and archives. Faculty supervisor: Don Diefenbach
